On Breaking: 4Chan Taking Down Gawker
According to Wikipedia, it all started when someone said something disparaging about Unfun's posterior.

On Luke Russert Plays Dumb About His Privilege
I agree insofar as that sentiment goes, but when explicitly asked by a reporter, he shouldn't act like an overachiever either. (i.e., He shouldn't have to put a caveat next to the internship on his resume saying, "NOTE: obtained through no actual skill or achievements"; but he should readily admit as much when asked about it by others.)

On Will Aaron Sorkin Avoid The Fatal Trap Of "The Politician"?
I assume you have no problem with the inevitable walking-through-a-hallway-while-having-a-very-detailed-conversation scene?

On Sonia Sotomayor Follows in Clarence Thomas' Footsteps (And Sells Memoir)
I will take a memoir by someone who has actually achieved something (e.g., SCOTUS or becoming VP) over the dreck of every random 30 year old whose sole life achievement has been convincing someone to publish this very memoir. This also applies to every "my mom died of X" and "I overcame an addiction to Y" memoir.

On LeBron James: Ultimate Millennial
The "Millenials are like [...]" meme has always seemed inapposite to me; it feels like it was entirely constructed by Gen X'ers who feel old, unfulfilled, and threatened, and to stave off the threat of a younger cadre of competition the Gen X'ers have branded those younger than them as indecisive and self-absorbed, etc.

On Gary Shteyngart Does Humorous Thing With Marketing Budget
I enjoyed the winking irony of him talking about "bears".

On Someone Got 'The Daily Show' in My Jezebel and Together They Taste A Little Weird
@Mantooth I would have also accepted: "O AN SHE SEXY!"

On A Fresh Movement Against the NYPD's Culture of Misconduct
Great piece, but even you underplay how widespread the practice of illegally planting drugs on innocent people is (whether to justify an arrest, improve statistics, etc.). Several former NYPD detectives have testified that this is routine - http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/14/nyregion/those-drugs-they-came-from-the-police.html?ref=nyregion
