I saw WK open for someone at Black Cat in DC. He was opening for someone and I was, to say the least, not there to see him. He was flat out f'n awesome. His band had five people across the front of the stage playing guitar/bass. When they weren't actually playing anything, they were pumping their fists. It was like a hard rock boy band. When his show was over, he hung with the crowd near me in the back getting everyone into it instead of the usual indie rock moping. Talked w/ him for a while. Super nice guy.
