On Local Twitter Slang, And All That Jawn

Language-obsessed peoples!!! Other than myself! This post my my day.

I am shocked no one mentioned the DC slang to end all DC slang, the across-racial-divides putdown that is BAMA. I keep trying to make it stick in NY but mostly no one knows what I'm talking about.

Edited to say- ok so someone said it in the comments, I'm obviously a bama myself.
