Victoria, you didn't look at Colorado closely enough. The western border jog is the most apparent, but our border also has a wiggle on the south (south of Pagosa Springs), and on the north (above Walden). In fact, both the N and S borders are wavy enough that they don't follow the lines of latitude all that closely. Check the USGS state base map and see for yourselves.
