On Some Advice for Young People
The best way to appear impartial is to be impartial. I have had so many bosses and co-workers who have tried to suck me into gossip sessions, only later to use the information against me. I now keep my mouth shut about 99.5% of the crap that goes on in any job, and I have one confidant who works in a different area and doesn't impact my job or my boss. This means that I don't have a lot of work friends, but that's ok, I have real friends at home. Perfecting the smile and nod face is the best too, when they throw bullshit at you, they want a huge reaction. If you give them little to no reaction, then they know you're not interested in playing their game and they usually quit it real fast.

On I've Become an Amazing Mom in the Six Hours I've Been Sober
@juliahairpincommenter Thank you. This is cringe worthy. At the risk of being a "Debbie Downer" alcoholism is like the joke addiction du jour, and it ain't funny really.

On Why Yoga Can Be So Irritating (Although You Should Go Anyway!)
What about that one guy (you know the one) who is all into his breathing A LITTLE TOO MUCH?! And his namaste's and ohm's are the loudest too. Shut up annoying yoga man. No one likes you.

On Why Yoga Can Be So Irritating (Although You Should Go Anyway!)
@likethestore Yea I'm a gal and I totally giggle when I can't do the pose, or when my face is in someone's ass. Then I sit there in child's place for ~2 min like fuck fuck fuck I'm sore why am I here...

On Why Yoga Can Be So Irritating (Although You Should Go Anyway!)
@EmilyKane Yea I am not a diehard, but all the stuff that sounded corny as hell when I first started going is now kindof fun. My advice to all the yoga haters is to try a chill time and try different studios. My favorite class is on a friday afternoon at 5 pm. There are usually like 3 - 7 people in the class.

On Why Yoga Can Be So Irritating (Although You Should Go Anyway!)
@Dani You should try another studio . I am SO not a yoga person, go really irregularly, but when I do go I love it. I have had instructors that I did not like though. My favorite instructor is a guy who is in the army! for reals.

On Weekend At Kermie's: The Muppets' Strange Life After Death
If you'll excuse me, it's a bit dusty in here... If you do a piece on Mr. Rogers I will not be able to keep it together.

On The Eight Truths About Weddings (That No One Ever Tells You)
@iantenna Alright, I'm with you on the letting go part, but easier said than done I guess. It's like puberty - everyone tells you about it but then you don't really know what it's going to be like until you go through it. So the "oh you should do xyz" comments that everyone always says, I find useless, since it's going to be so different for everyone.

@Pizza4Life What do you do when the soulless careerist is combined with the drama queen and is your boss? Well, I quit, but just wondering...
