On A New Design? A New D. R. Adams Theme Song

AOL, really? Man. I'm sure it's just a play on words and there was certainly a time when that would be all cutesy-pootesy and I'd enjoy the irony. But, aside from my own personal hurt feelings, they also just got rid of Bill Wilson AND Peter Rivera, the lifeblood behind "MediaGlow." The company is becoming synonymous with a Google-owned startup. Which, hey, why not - we all love Google. But... Oh well. I digress.

On Long Player with D.R. Adams: Q-Bert (*&%$#)

I tell ya, when he played that ESPN theme song I felt like getting out my lighter. That song is like 'Free Bird' to me. Seriously.

On Long Player with D.R. Adams: Q-Bert (*&%$#)

How on EARTH did I not connect the dots until now?! My grandfather was a grand poobah (or whatever they're called) in the Masons, AND I LOVE Q*Bert! Finally the truth is out! Sadly, I suck at Q*Bert. Doesn't stop me from starting over, playing until I die and starting over again, but you know -- it's funner that way never getting past the first level.

Also, just a word of advice if you're going to be painting with acrylics - you may consider putting the lids back on when you're done. Oh I know, it looks all artsy if you just leave your paints all strewn about, but if you don't replace the cap the paint will dry out and you'll be stuck playing with clay during recess. And no one likes clay. NO ONE.

And.....question re: "Stage Fright" (circa 2008) -- what's with the sad-looking/possibly crying girl(?) in the front row? Do you regularly have fans bursting into tears during your concerts? I, personally, would not cry during a concert. Actually I take that back, I shed a tiny tear during John Tesh's show years ago -- he came into the audience with his little carry-along keyboard thing and it was AWESOME. But you know, just for the record, I choose to bum people out rather than blatantly cry. Just saying.

On Long Player with D.R. Adams: Galaxian 2 Handheld, New York City

ZOMG! I had a Mickey Mouse handheld game when *I* was a kid! Funny how you just skipped over that one. Where you have to balance on a ball and move to the right and the left to catch a baton? Yeah, that's the one.

That said, I'm totally checking out that place on 6th while I'm there next week! I don't recall seeing it in my eat. shop. book but maybe it was just an oversight.

Oh, and I personally am rather sick of the 'Rats' song. I was offended (not really) the first time you posted it, and I'm just as offended (not really) now. I happen to like rats. Kind of. Okay, so squirrels are better, but you know, they're like rats, only with furry tails. Mayhaps you should take on a song about squirrels next. I would definitely appreciate that one.

You're not the only one full of nonsense.

On Long Player With D. R. Adams: Gravitar And Excuses

I believe you should find yourself a new doctor. One that can spell, preferably. Or is that how they doose it out in California? Crazy hippies.

On Long Player With D. R. Adams: Gorf, The End Of The World, And The Legacy Of Danzig

Dragon’s Lair was one of those games that made me jealous of the kids who had a Tandy 2000 that could handle all the super-duper animation. All we had was a lousy Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer -- we were lucky just to play QIX. Oh, and it had a tape deck. Man, we were scraping by. Yep. Just barely.

Galaga is/was/always will be better.
