On Long Player with D.R. Adams: Q-Bert (*&%$#)
Nice to see some love for the Germs. The old school ones. I haven't heard them without Darby. I'm working on 2 and half hours sleep here today, so maybe that's why, but I found this all very amusing. Someone is sure to tell me I am just easily amused, but, you know, fuck that.

On Long Player with D.R. Adams: Galaxian 2 Handheld, New York City
I loved this column. 'Rats' was fun to play several times until my boss came into the office. Ah, Q-Bert.
The C batteries and grandparents thing--so true--must've been about flashlights. Mine were very big on having working flashlights. I never saw them use one, though. Hope your NY jaunt/painting is going well.
Thanks for brightening up the day.

On Long Player with D. R. Adams: Tron, 1982 (Bally Midway)
That was very entertaining. I had a roommate once who was obsessed with Tron. I played a little, resisted the obsession, but it's cool to see it again.
As for the music part, amazing how soulful you can sound about grid bugs. As for trees, I grew up in Virginia and my grandmother had a crepe myrtle that was awesome in bloom.

On Long Player With D. R. Adams: Gravitar And Excuses
I thought his arcade was awesome, the dog is adorable, and the video made me laugh a lot. Who could ask for more?

On The Passage of the Senate Health Care Bill, 60-39
How is cutting Medicaid and Medicare as part of the way to fund this a good thing? Take from one group of people without many resources and give to other people without many resources-- why isn't controlling what insurance companies can make off people's misery the first option? I know there are a lot of 'seniors' who have money, but there are also a lot living on tiny fixed incomes, juggling paying for medicine --even with the drug benefit which doesn't cover quite a few medications--with eating. Doesn't make sense.
