On Tom Waits, 1983-1987
can you please not write any more posts whose titles are "tom waits" followed by two dates connected by a hyphen? a girl scrolling quickly by could have a heart attack!
also, i hate to quibble after being treated to an awesome tom waits retrospective inside my brain, but "jockey full of bourbon" not in the top 3? wrong.

@assembledwrong I know, right? Plus there's something terribly opportunistic about claiming the Ugly Duckling for the ducks now, when back when the ducks thought he was one of them, they beat him up and harassed him all the time. Oh, so now that he's a bad-ass swan, NOW you ducks suddenly want him on your team?
