Of course Severus Snape outranks Remus Lupin (of course, I'm already married to a chemistry teacher, so I will allow for some prejudice there). Snape is employed, loyal to a lost love, and dies for people who couldn't bother to spit on him. Remus has no backbone, wants to desert his pregnant wife, and lets a mass murderer into Hogwarts (he didn't know Sirius Black was innocent, but never warned the Headmaster that he knew Sirius was inside the school).

Gosh, it's so hard to decide...
