I've been doing a lot of thinking about this topic. I changed my cover on The Vampire's Salvation from the one you see in red to the one I posted. I have a different cover for my paperback. My fear is that readers will get confused. I really love the new ebook cover, but I don't know what people will think about it because it is different. The story is about a child of a female vampire who was able to get pregnant because she was a good being. She was pure for a vampire. So the cover shows a pregnant lady all in white.
