I'm confused too. Minority-owned vendors have to pay more than other vendors? The website for the Office of Supplier Diversity just makes it seem like a typical agency -- no talk of being funded by the vendors themselves-- at least directly. That newspaper article lacks lots of info that might be interesting to know! In any case, it doesn't sound as if anyone at that lunch expected to have their minds completely changed.

Are these Y things really all that different from someone reading at a big B&N? On the other hand, I guess this one saved attendees from having to read the book, so there's that.
