On Tony the Pony, 1971-2011
I am suddenly having a very vivid memory of I think a movie, but possibly a book, about pit ponies and their terrible existences and the children who fight to free them. Or something.
Please somebody else tell me they've got a vague idea of what I'm talking about, so I don't spend the rest of the day thinking I've gone crazy and am making up childhood memories out of whole cloth.

On Tony the Pony, 1971-2011
@Maevemealone It would have had to have been earlier than that - I was in high school in the late 90s and this distinctly reminds me of something from earlier. I bet it was a book. My school library was full of random old, out of print YA novels that I've never been able to find again. I'm going to blame it on that.
