In the last five years, there's been a 330% increase in the number of categories at the Webby Awards. Web-watcher Andy Baio suggests: "you'd think that their business model hinged on getting as many entries as possible"!

An exciting new survey of 43 "media elites," and yes, they actually used that phrase, found that 65% of them thought that the internet had "hurt journalism." The average age of these "media elites," we found after doing some math, is 55.55. Not to be ageist, but: do they actually know what the Internet is?
