He said: "I was interested in Senator Obama's reaction to the Russian aggression against Georgia. His first statement was, 'Both sides oughta show restraint.' Again: a little bit of naivete there. He doesn't understand that Russia committed serious aggression against Georgia." Well. Now a European Union report due in September "is expected to place the responsibility" for the war on the president… of Georgia.

In its infinite desire to protect its citizens from the horrors of Obamacare, the Georgia Assembly is considering a bill that would "prohibit requiring a person to be implanted with a microchip." You might chuckle to yourself and think, "What a bunch of yahoos, wasting valuable time on a useless piece of legislation that will only serve to stoke the fears of the most gullible or mentally vulnerable residents of the state." Well, stifle your laughter, you elitist liberal snob: The mentally vulnerable in Georgia come pre-stoked.

Democrat Roy Barnes, a former Georgia governor turned out by voters in 2002, is seeking to return to that office. State Insurance Commissioner John Oxendine, a Republican aspirant to the same position, has decided that the best way to prevent Barnes from achieving his goal is by creating the dumbest campaign ad of all time. He has succeeded beyond any known metric. This ad is not just stupid, it is powerful stupid. Please do enjoy.
