E and Vince climbed up over the rim of the hill, and there they stopped to gaze down upon the ruins of the city below. Thirteen years since the SAG/AFTRA split-up and the city was still burning. Vast sections of the canvas below were nothing but charred smoldering dirt. And higher up, by the shell of the old Hollywood sign, they could make out the screams of anguish, the clatter of swords, the unholy battle cries of the Test Audiences as they stampeded down toward the deserted boulevards in search of fresh hot blood. Last week's premiere of "Entourage," season six, was far and away the best episode of the show so far, and it was with more than a little dread and anticipation that I tuned in last night. Could they top, or even maintain, the incredible level of gritty realism and surprise they were able to deliver in the first show? HBO's "True Blood" and "Hung" did exceptionally well in the ratings Sunday night. Even "Entourage," now in its sixth season, saw vast improvement numbers-wise. All of this exceptionally good news for "Cockula: The Hollywood Files," my project about a vampire with an enormous dick who makes it big in LA. I'm thinking Viggo Mortensen for the lead, but if the right deal can be made I'm happy to consider alternatives.

While the current buzz about HBO centers around the ratings success of vampire drama "True Blood," last night saw the premiere of the sixth season of "Entourage."
