Reading Jeff Sharlet's C Street: "the Jesus the Fellowship purports to serve is actually much more analogous to Santa Claus."

This amused me endlessly. Zach Wamp, the Tennessee congressman who lives in the C Street house of "The Family," where Jesus is much loved, suddenly decided he sounded bad when he trashed his fellow C Street-goers, non-monogamy politician-enthusiasts John Ensign and Mark Sanford, and so he called Rachel Maddow a liar. Now she is going to cut him in the face after school by the bike racks.
