Hawk Goes Hungry

"They say all dogs go to heaven. Apparently some come from there too."

I'm not gonna lie, I really needed this today. If bears are not your thing, there's bonus footage of a pig and a dog frolicking together below.
The draw here is supposedly the picture of the polar bear cub doing a "yoga" position, but I think the last photo, where she snuggles up against her mom, is pretty adorable.
So some people think that there are not enough cat videos on this website, which, you know, I understand how scarce cat videos are on the Internet, it is virtually impossible to find them anywhere! But in deference to the feline-deprived, here is a story about a tigon cub. Tigon = lion +tiger. Who knew? HAPPY NOW? Anyway, to balance that all out, here is a video that features baby polar bears, which I think we can all agree are cooler than cats of any kind.
"Forget the three little pigs hiding from the big bad wolf. These six little pigs have found a new friend in a maternal French bulldog named Baby. The Lehnitz animal sanctuary outside Berlin said Baby took straight to the wild boar piglets when they were brought in Saturday, three days old and shivering from cold. Sanctuary worker Norbert Damm said Wednesday that, as soon as the furry striped piglets were brought in, Baby ran over and started snuggling them and keeping them warm, even though they're almost her size." Why yes, there ARE photos.
Here you will find a photogallery of babies swimming underwater.
The best thing about these adorable napping piglets is that they can delight the Internet both right now and then again a little later on when they become bacon!
Orangutans! Ring-tailed lemurs! Golden monkeys! Polar bears! AND THEY'RE ALL BABIES! It's like nature WANTS to get on the Internet!
Are baby seals cute? Of course they are. Tiny versions of anything are cute. Anyway, enjoy.
OHMYGOD these leopard cubs! Look at the first picture here. He thinks he's people!
I don't know if it's the lingering effects of the Daylight Saving Time changeover, or the lousy weather, or the continual crushing awareness that life is an empty series of gestures made on the way to the grave, but I am having a rough go of it this afternoon. So thank God for this, at least. So long as you don't remind yourself that this is the happiest this baby is ever going to be, it's kind of soothing. [Via]
