She made herself ill eating cat shit then "pressure washed" the inside of my truck with spray poo. The "turducken" of shit! #ZERORESALEVALUE
Liza said tonights songwriting efforts were "flaccid"and "uninspired".She told me I was a hack and that she wanted a chicken treat.
Liza wants to see some growth. Something daring and with cat's buttholes in it. I need to "become the woman a was whelped to be".(her words)
I mean: wildly exceeds expectations, right???
In more serious news, Blake Hounshell is overwhelming but if you want to intently follow on along on issues from Libya to Oman, he is your man.
Check @iyad_elbaghdadi's stream for the latest inside dope from Libya. He seems to be tapping the Qaddafis' phones.
For issues in artistry and the expurgation of anxiety, it's Colson Whitehead, natch.
If you wrote your thesis on Blade Runner, you were pretty much jerking off.
For the politics more local and transactional, obviously Ben Smith.
If you're in NYC, I'll be participating in convo on "the role of money in our lives" at the Public Theater tonight http://is.gd/umK0C6
And for the local more financial, it's Heidi Moore.
Warren Buffett is looking for cos to buy. He didn't even use a porny metaphor this time, so you know he's serious. http://bloom.bg/ghpe9H
And I honestly don't know who Ahmad Bilal is but he cracks me up.
Yeah, that's what all the hot guys are doing at 3am on Wednesdays. Eating cottage cheese in pajamas, explaining "swag" to their friends.
And for all your breaking celebrity non-news?
I, for one, am now willing to follow Charlie Sheen onto whatever comet he says will take us to Planet Winning. Missheen accomplished.
At long last, yes, there is our in-development Twitter list of Awlers. Merry Christmas. Now delete your Twitter account and get off the Internet.

Qaddafi seized control of Libya when he was 27! When I was 27, all I was seizing control of was myself.
Sometimes I unfollow him because he's Canadian. But then I remember that he was a factchecker at Spy (a factchecker at Spy!) and has written some very good episodes of "The Simpsons." Also he hates Jay Leno, so.
Currently on inflight entertainment: Leno doing headlines. No one watching except a baby, who screams with a pain he has no words for.

Dogs bullhorn-orating from atop World Trade Center wreckage, "Bring the revolution home, kill your parents; that's where it's really at!"
I can't really explain this, nor would I want to! It's not really comedy? It's not really tragedy either though. OR IS IT. (Previously.)

Hey! I love our cool futurismo world! I read your brill essay on the Death of Journalism for free on Huffpo on my ifone lunching at Pastis
It's maybe weird that I unfollowed all the actual real-life underminers on Twitter but follow this one, right?

It's very likely that you don't live in Los Angeles! So many people don't these days. But it's a fascinating city, and even nonresidents can play along with this Twitter feed of LA history. What I love about it is it tells little stories.
Her obit, "In man's world of 1912, few enclaves more exclusively masculine than sheriff's dept & Mrs.Adams...was something of special case."
THAT'S WHAT WE CALL "VALUE-ADDED" IN THE BIZ, BABY.
And like this:
Feb 1, 1885: Charles Lummis arrived in Los Angeles, after walking 3,507 miles from Ohio.
Charles Lummis chronicled his walking adventures in his book "A Tramp Across the Continent." Available online: http://bit.ly/ezKOX0
Lummis was LA booster, publisher, Indian-rights advocate, preservationist, writer, museum founder, womanizer & all-around colorful rogue
If you're really interested in going deep, you can follow LA City Nerd too. In my mind, these two Twitter proprietors despise each other. It's probably true! Fun!

When we started up the Awl twitter feed oh lo those many quarters ago, I simultaneously had one good friend tell me she wouldn't follow it if it had all our headlines, and another good friend tell me the exact opposite. Maddening! But still I agree that business-type Twitters shouldn't spew every 18 seconds. That is why our pals at Longreads are great, because they do not overwhelm but they do regularly inform! Longreads, in case you don't know, is the driving force behind a community of people who enjoy reading longer (for reals), run by a fellow named Mark Armstrong. If your idea of a good time is reading, you are in luck! (You are also a geek.) Previously.

The good china really isn't all that good but it probably hasn't had my junk on it recently, so, you know, l'chaim.
The chances are decent that you may already follow Fireland on Twitter, the latest incarnation in Josh Allen's longtime Internet Entertainment Complex. But do you follow Kevin Fanning? His strong suit is nerd jokes about the Internet.
I'd let my kids starve naked in the streets before I ever looked directly at a barista with stretched-out earlobes.
Such an endearingly wistful sigh accompanied my removing the caprica_fans community from my livejournal friends-list earlier today.
Sometime I feel so degraded and useless, like the entire world is looking at me through IE6.
How I Read The Internet, by Kevin Fanning: I look at the name of the person who wrote the article, not the title of the post. The end.
So with tumblr down what's everyone doing with their blurry pictures of girls wearing windowpane tights?

The critic, who writes only about others, deems art about the making of art "solipsistic" and says it's not tough work. How would he know?
Sometimes I compulsively follow people on Twitter even when I rarely have any idea what they're talking about! You get one-half of various arcane conversations, some meditations on bagels and a lot of stuff about French films you haven't seen. Hence, Richard Brody, the Goings On movies editor of the New Yorker. Perhaps you remember Brody best for his mini-pan of Rush Hour 3? ("This is filmmaking by the yard, but Ratner perks up near the end and delivers a vertigo-inducing chase through the latticework of the Eiffel Tower. Only the pounding music and sound effects might keep a viewer awake to that point; such formulaic fare cries out for a director with Quentin Tarantino’s studious flair.") Well perhaps not. More likely you know his very attentive blogging at the New Yorker. But his Twitter! It's sort of like an oddly upper-crust sitcom, one that's set in this other New York, and it might be a better town than ours? He is constantly yelling at Glenn Kenny's Twitter (even while calling Kenny's blog "terrific"). I like to think of Brody and the rest of them all shuffling from the Sony screening room to the Magno, dodging Rex Reed and muttering all the while about Truffaut. It's so irritating and enjoyable! He is like the crazy uncle I never had.
@ExtAngel You're not sure what anyone has nailed, since you haven't seen the film. But you're busy reviewing it anyway.
@ExtAngel Yes—and worse, the immediacy on Twitter, so that a discussion goes from a sneer to a scream in mere seconds.
Plus coworker banter!
@nancysfranklin @laurenzcollins I saw bundles of actors' gestures and a director's pride in his sympathy for ordinary people.
I only follow this Twitter because I am a silly and unserious person and I enjoy being reminded of that fact.

Buy her a lingerie or pajama set so she can put it on after she get out nahmean. Have a little cake for her or whatever whatever whatever.
Y'all go down to the motherfuckin hotel, they got a bunch of activities y'all can do. Go on boat rides and shit, you do all that shit.
If you missed Ghostface Killah giving Valentine's Day advice to straight men all day, well... you really missed something! (According to Mr. Killah, the secret is to "make your girl happy." Also cunnilingus.) You know I just never thought I'd be saying this, but here I am, following Ghostface Killah. Also back in mid-January, he had a lengthy treatise on real friends v. fake friends that actually made a lot of sense to me as well! And back in early January, he had a long run on how to tell if you're being cheated on. Anyway, if it's too much record promotion up in that piece for you, and you prefer just the good advice, try advice columnist and CEO Tionna Smalls! She is out there helping women get their mind right every day—she's so dedicated that she's about to go back to school to become a therapist even. (Previously.)
