Is Sleeping Near Your Phone Killing You?

"Eight out of ten of us keep our mobiles on overnight… But experts are concerned about the effect this is having – at the very least it makes us 'hypervigilant' so our sleep is more likely to be disturbed and we end up not getting enough of the restorative sleep we need. But it might also trigger insomnia and other sleeping problems…. More controversially, there are suggestions that sleeping with your mobile by your bed may cause dizziness and headaches."

Doesn't everyone use their phone as an alarm clock?

Because everybody used to turn off their landline phones when they went to bed because keeping the thing plugged in caused hypervigilance and affected sleep patters because people were all, What if someone calls at 3 a.m.??? Haha, no.

Yes, sleeping with your mobile by your bed may cause dizziness and headaches, even if turns out it was in airplane mode or out of power. The case absorbs lethal doses of woowootrons, which are then emitted during the night and preferentially bind to your judgement neurons, destroying them. In the terminal case you may end up on a reality show.
