American Hero Who Killed Bin Laden Now Broke, Sad

"But the Shooter will discover soon enough that when he leaves after sixteen years in the Navy, his body filled with scar tissue, arthritis, tendonitis, eye damage, and blown disks, here is what he gets from his employer and a grateful nation: Nothing. No pension, no health care, and no protection for himself or his family."
Things have not worked out so well for the Seal Team 6 assassin who took out Osama bin Laden, America's most wanted global terror mastermind Bond villain. Update: Someone should have told him about the VA hospital though.

I know that we're all done arguing about the authenticity or lack thereof in Zero Dark Thirty, but I don't think I'll ever be able to think about that raid without hearing the team whisper-calling "osama! ooooosaaaama."

Why spend 16 yrs and quit? Twenty years (just one more hitch) and he would get pension and benefits, not to mention the reinlistment would more than likely mean a promotion and raise, just adding to the pension in four years.
Unless, of course there is a reason I havent heard yet, that forces him to resign.
