They did it! The Curiosity Mars Rover survived the "seven minutes of terror!" They are awesome dorks!
It would be more accurate (accurater) to describe these people as geeks; it may be the case that they are also dorks, but that is difficult to determine from the above video.
SEE you're into accuracy too! But seriously, the 10 year old part of me is getting pretty impatient with our progress re: outer space. How much longer am I going to have to wait to read some article about unrest on an off-world mining colony? Or listen to a debate about the civil rights of whatever gross but totally similar creature we discover in some gas field? SEEMS LIKE FOREVER.
Logo'd polo shirts?
I love them with all my heart.

Well if that isn't the best headline to come out of this whole Mars boondoggle. And I say boondoggle because science confuses me and therefore must be a waste of time.
I think I might be the only person on Earth who is a little unnerved by what we may find up there. Or maybe this sense of foreboding is a result of something I ingested this weekend.
The toleration of nerds is a bearable price for the continued domination of outer space by the mighty fleets of the American people.
I thank you and Xenu delenda est.

Has Glover ever been in a David Lynch Film? Because he's perfect for Lynch's twisted vision of nightmare reality. Welsh Rugby shirts
