Sitting Down Will Let You Finally Rest Two Years Sooner

"Sitting down for more than three hours a day can shave a person's life expectancy by two years, even if he or she is physically active and refrains from dangerous habits like smoking, according to a study to be published on Tuesday in the online journal BMJ Open." I set up a standing desk and believe me, it's changed my life. Now I don't get cigarette ash all over my lap anymore.

Alternate take : I prefer the standing desk because it makes drinking while working feel more like being at an actual bar.
