Big day for Mayor Mike, shooting his mouth and/or foot off. Charming or wacky? Scary or fun? It's so hard to decide with him.

The ruling People's Action Committee in Singapore holds 81 out of 87 seats (93.1%) in the country's Parliament. The contrast with the New York City Council, where Democrats control 47 out of 51 seats (92.2%) could not be greater!

@jfruh Also, Singapore is run by an increasingly unpopular autocrat who has been accused of buying votes. And it's an island.

jfruh (#713)

@stuffisthings Whereas New York is SEVERAL islands!

SidAndFinancy (#4,328)

@jfruh Plus the Bronx and Marble Hill!

"We thought about invading France with our police force but I think our food is better." @MikeBloomberg

SidAndFinancy (#4,328)

"Which is why Curtis Sliwa and his Guardian Expeditionary Forces make landfall in Normandy tonight. We anticipate significant beret synergies." @MikeBloomberg

zidaane (#373)

@SidAndFinancy "I have no idea why Curtis Sliwa invaded Portugal." @MikeBloomberg

Wacky until proven scary. To be judged by the ghost of Sean Bell.

I find little to disagree with in these Twitter posts. Bloomberg is flawed and a nerd, but we'll miss Bloomberg's intelligence and even handedness, once a corrupt and incompetent Democrat takes over.

Quinn will bankrupt the City.

@Lockheed Ventura Mmm. And let's not forget the Frozen Yogurt Fiasco we had the last time a Democrat was in City Hall.

deepomega (#1,720)

@Lockheed Ventura Glad to hear you love stop and frisk, I guess. Jesus.

Bryan Keller (#3,804)

@Lockheed Ventura Maybe we should use AmericansElect.org to get a "non-partisan" mayor!
