Also in booze science: http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/115909-graphene-the-perfect-water-filter

"In another experiment, Dr Nair & Co. sealed a bottle of vodka with the graphene filter. This allowed just the water to evaporate, effectively distilling it into super-vodka."

Super-vodka super-martini for Jolie, coming up!

@jolie Relevant to your interests: http://www.anchordistilling.net/about_us/cocktail_boothby.htm

I have a copy and it's fun although not 100% (or even 50%) useful as a guide to making cocktails anyone would want to drink. His advice on "refreshing" spoiled wine by adding lead salts sure has been useful, though!
