High up on the list of things I'm never going to be able to do—nestled, in fact, between "spend one day sober" and "wake up happy"—is "enjoy nature." I just don't like it. I would say the worst part of being a child, for me, was summer camp, because it pretty much consisted of having other people tell you what to do all the time, plus you're outdoors. That does not however mean that I am completely blind to the beauty of the landscape. I just prefer to enjoy it from the comfort of a chair, in climate-controlled conditions.
