HELL YES. This is just what I needed. Thanks, Awl!

"... Wodehouse, who lived four months past his ninety-third birthday, had discovered his own secret of long life: he simply ignored what was worrisome, bothersome, or confusing in the world around him."
Why do you have to say fans of PG Wodehouse? Cant it be assumed that anyone reading this site is a fan of PG Wodehouse? Are you suggesting you have some readers who aren't? If so, could you please cut off their awl reading permissions so that the rest of us will not risk contact with them?
There's a terrific book called "Author! Author!" which, I think, was correspondence between PGW and somebody or other about writing. A lot of good tips in there for the would-be novelist.

P.G. Wodehouse was a Mets fan? *brain melts*
@brilliantmistake As if anyone needed further reasons to admire him...
Delightful!
@ComradePsmith Don't you have vorticist poetesses to chase?

There's also a pretty delightful semi-autobiography called IN HIS OWN WORDS that weaves pieces of his writing into the story of his life. Much fun.
