More than 5,000 tweets using the #needsoftheoccupiers hashtag were collected from October to December of last year, then geo-located and sorted into top unique needs per occupation site. Tweeted needs included books for New York, garden supplies for San Francisco, Kool-Aid and Crystal Light in Orlando, and in Seattle, after police used pepper spray on protestors, Maalox, which can help neutralize and relieve pepper spray symptoms.

I think the college kids in Bloomington (laundry service?) need to take a lesson from Toledo and their humble request for a can opener.
Thank you for letting us know about the issue of kids in Bloomington.

You're welcome. Hey! Wait right there, spam.
I'm pretty sure this is out of date, as I live in Bloomington and police disbanded the Occupy protest in People's park weeks ago. They can still PROTEST, but there's no tents allowed and no loitering overnight. Surely if they're going home they can do laundry?
Also, I'm not even going to go into the inherent hilarity of the Occupy protest in BLOOMINGTON, a haven of liberalism in a sea of red counties (a compliment, I assure you). Occupy in general has a point, but I'm not sure a town where most of the banks are credit unions or small locals is the best target...
Had to laugh/cry when I saw the tweet from my alma mater requesting simply, People. Sums up my experience @UNH in more ways than one.
