The New Almodóvar Is Almost Upon Us!
It played festivals so long ago that I forgot about it and now it's opening in New York and Los Angeles on October 14! (Followed by an extremely annoying and slow rollout to the rest of the country.) Let's revisit the trailer! Says Almodóvar, of the feedback in Europe: "People like it more the second time." CAN DO!

I saw this two weeks ago and can confirm it's his rapiest film yet. I had problems with it even though overall, I liked it? Wait, is that a spoiler? #feeeeeeelings
@Murgatroid "His rapiest film yet!" is a perfect poster blurb.
@Murgatroid For Almodovar, that's saying something!
@bitzyboozer I haven't sat through a whole movie of his since "Talk to Her" TWO women in coma? Please.) I can't take him any more. It's like he suffers from Munchhausen by proxy with regard to his female characters; he makes them suffer to make himself look good.
@SarahHeartburn Doesn't every character suffer in an Almodovar film?
Not quite the spoiler the trailer shown here in Spain is, though everyone tells me you can pretty much figure out the whole story in the first half hour.
