I was trying to wrap my head around her accent, but then CBS Sunday Morning actually went as far as to accentsplain that for me, even attempting to pinpoint it to a locale as specific as the UWS which was like _________.
I do nerd out on audio things but that Language Log article just grabbed me in a sure-why-the-hell-not sort of way.
"Humans of any kind" strikes me as incredibly suspicious phrasing.
