For example, John C. Calhoun. Yale liked his racism so much, they named a residential college after him!
One of the more famous proponents of Social Darwinism in America was Yale professor William Graham Sumner, who graduated from the same damn school in the midst of the Civil War.
Ivy league colleges = most competitive schools in America, not necessarily the most intellectual or creative or interesting. If you go in for "competitive" (Averted Gaze) ... by all means
