Cosplay Both More, Less Perverse When It Involves Bowties

Well, here are the Doctor Who Lookalike Contest Winners from Comic-Con. Not very lookalikey but I give them credit. And here's everyone else who entered: kind of want to hug them all. Some way more tightly than others. What a sexy zoo. (Just me?)

Bow ties, tweed, and fezzes = winning combination.

Comic Con surely has come a long way from the home made Star Trek, Batman, etc. costumes of the 1970s!

Rompers!

I haven't seen that many virgins since the Susan Boyle concert.

And I hang around middle schools, A LOT.

@saythatscool Why does everyone think that geeks and nerds aren't fucking? Or that there are no girl nerds?
I mean, the two up there are young, but in general?

saythatscool (#101)

@cherrispryte I kid because I love. I know the nerds are doing it. They're probably banging like space monkeys or whatever the fuck it is you kids debate about for hours. I appreciate that.

@saythatscool No, I know – but J*zebel ran a thing yesterday about "World's largest group of virgins" in reference to Comic-Con, and, well, it gets old.

And I believe you mean the nerds are sonicing each other's screwdrivers all over the place.

@cherrispryte Yeah, I get frustrated when even people who allegedly want to integrate nerd spaces joke about how it's all dudes (which I also am occasionally guilty of doing). There are a lot of women in the nerd community, and also a great deal of sonicking.

Bowties are cool.

I incredibly productive at work yesterday because I spent the majority of the day listening to SDCC panels on youtube.

(Which – related – find me a complete version of the Torchwood panel and I will send you cookies, people of the internet!)
