Ya but.. some relief on the rise of autism diagnoses there? as in, maybe we're seeing a lot more of it because some people are getting paid to see more of it.

In fact, the second installment was so alarming, I stopped believing it. It starts to feel like she's cherry-picking the evidence for her argument. Though if even a quarter of what she says is true, it's bad enough.

@shudder It's a two-parter, it's the NYRB, and they're probably feeling like they have a rep to maintain after the Crews/Freud stuff? But yes. Grandiose is the word.
