Each Generation Lazier Than the Last

"Accusations of laziness have been levied against 'kids these days' for decades."
Every generation is lazy! (A follow-up to this not really rousing defense of the current youngs.) No, but seriously, the kids today are soooo much lazier.

Oh my god, I hate it when I see people with earphones in at work. I am a Kid These Days and I agree that all of us are lazy.

*I've seen this mostly with university jobs but also TTC drivers :/

Maybe I'm just bitter because I'm not allowed to sit down at work, and then I have to walk home after a 6-7 hour shift, uphill (BOTH WAYS).

They also need to pull up their pants. You can see their butt cracks half the time. And who wants to see that? I certainly don't.

Infants today are the worst. They're such fucking babies.

Just a thought, but maybe the youngs are, you know, underused? perpetually? until they figure out how to connive their way into jobs that work them to death.

Or: maybe the youngs who AREN'T lazy all go to med or law school and get worked to death as clerks and associates and residents and we never see nor hear from them, and therefore base our assessments of generational aptitude on the rest of us...

Maybe the Times economix blog says all this but I am too lazy and depressed about the econ Ph.D.s my age off advising companies to click and read. Time to go read a poem...
