The Skorpion Show On Beyonce's New Single 'Girls (Who Run The World)'
When something as significant as the release of Beyoncé's first new single in two years happens, everyone on the internet seems to feel the need to share their opinions and expert criticisms, this website included. But as we racked our brains trying to figure out what to do for it, this video review by The Skorpion Show crossed our paths and articulated everything and anything we would ever hope to say, but better and more sincerely than we ever could. It should also be noted that this video is a response to the demo version of the song that leaked yesterday, and not the official version that came out today.

0:00 – I'll be honest, this is the fifth time I'm watching this video, but I don't mind, because it is that good.
0:20 – At this point, you have no idea how deep Mikhail's feelings are on the song. They also do a great job of providing a lot of context as to what's happening.
0:40 – The off camera girl (OFG)'s audible gasp is great. I'm going to watch older eps of TSS to find out what she looks like. She sounds cute.
0:56 – Would kill for an animated gif of what happens to Kevin when he hears Pon De Floor come on in the club.
1:28 – "Sigh."
1:29 – That's me doing an impression of Mikhail.
1:35 – "Who runs this house? WHO RUNS THIS HOUSE?" (Girls.)

3:10 – I really want Beyonce to watch this video, the amount that Mikhail cares, makes it seem like he deserves to have a conversation with her.
3:45 – OMG. KEVIN. AGAIN WITH THE WILLOW BASHING. WTF???
4:00 – Again, why Mikhail deserves to have a convo with Beyonce.
4:22 – Okay Mikhail, let's be real, 'Halo' and DEFINITELY NOT 'Get Me Bodied' are not THAT good.

5:00 – "If I could sit you in a locked room…" Okay, now that might be a bit much.
@David Cho Right? Halo is a real scandal in Beyonce's quest to apparently become Michael Jackson??? (Which, uh.) Still, Beyonce should hire them!
5:32 – 2003 was a really great year for solo acts from former pop groups, by that I mean, Justin Timberlake and Beyonce were both solo at that point.
5:55 – It seems unfair that Beyonce's held to a bar higher than everyone else, but I guess it makes sense.
@David Cho It's because Willow Smith is so vanilla! It's true, Beyonce is so much more than vanilla. I love her so much with her makeup all running and she is a big mess in that one video (This also is an AMAZING video thx.)
6:18 – The pregnant pause after "icon" is PREGNANT.
6:25 – Wait, they've been doing the Skorpion Show since 2008? GUESS I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING TONIGHT.
7:10 – They're pointing out a flaw in iTunes, the fact that you can't buy a song more than once. Seems like iTunes could make a ton of money by allowing hardcore fans to pump more money into their fav artists – Bieber-heads, etc.
7:20 – WHO IS THAT CHILD WALKING THROUGH THE BACKGROUND?
7:35 – I didn't really like 'Single Ladies' when I first heard it either. Clearly I'm an idiot. Conversely, I do like the finished version of 'Girls'.
7:39 – The fact that Kevin is singing along (and he has a nice voice!) makes me think he's already starting to come around to the song?

And while I didn't think it possible, that song is exponentially more annoying than Single Ladies.
Oh my god, Mikhail from 1:32 to 1:42 and from 2:30 to 2:45 almost makes me wish he hadn't started to talk and had continued to telegraph his amusement/disappointment.
