Yes, Tennessee too. The Senate Speaker would like to make it clear that Tennessee is not Wisconsin. Yes, in Tennessee, they're actually going to outlaw teachers' collective bargaining entirely.

I wonder if this is going to pass First Amendment scrutiny. I don't think it can, but then I am Canadian.

This definitely qualifies for protection under the well-known "right of citizens to disrupt legislative proceedings" clause.

Five of those who were arrested are my dear friends and comrades. Thank you for posting about this! The 7 were arrested, charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, were released at about 2:00 am this morning, and have had their bail set at $2000 each.
