White House press secretary Robert Gibbs will depart from that position to become a political consultant to the President as he gears up for re-election. We will miss his blunt ways and general shininess.
Sometimes wished he would answer things slightly differently (why can't everyone talk like CJ Cregg as written by Sorkin?), but I really liked Gibbs. He was a breath of fresh air after watching the sphincter-tightening Dana Perino close out W's administration.
