I'm reminded of the guy a decade or so ago shilling "Plato, Not Prozac".
Philosophy does have its consolations, but as a depressive I have to believe that some of these authors end up with blood on their hands.
Do you think it's fair to let the doctors and the pharma get all of the money (and the blood)?
I think I saw the "Plato, Not Prozac" guy hawk his book on "To Catch A Predator".
Of course not. I'll take some of the latter if I can get some of the former. I am, though, woefully behind on a business plan.
And the solution to unemployment: just get a job! This is easy.

And also, we recently heard about this little girl in Tucson who got killed, and is therefore – 'dead'.
"I could not bear to take antidepressants or tranquillisers because I had seen my father’s character changed by his addiction to them."
That's a pretty ignorant and harmful half-truth.
