A shocking study on misinformation in the 2010 election has found that "Fox News viewers are the most misinformed of any news consumers." I'll give you all a moment to retrieve your mandibles from the carpet.

It gets even worse when you browse through the actual study. And it can't all be blamed on Fox News.
/chugs whiskey
VBB –exactly. God knows what other bullshit Fox viewers subscribe to.
I'm too lazy/busy to check out the actual study, but the TPM article is a little misleading in terms of correlation vs causation. Fox might just be the easiest for idiots to understand, or the most accessible, or whatever.
I understand the 'lol FOX!' temptation but this study is pretty atrocious.
If you want to gauge how informed responders are you ask questions with objectively true answers. If you want to test their level of knowledge about the economy you ask something like whether official CPI figures have gone up or down since date x not 'Do you think that now the economy is a)starting to recover b)still getting worse' as this study did. There is simply no correct answer to such a question.
