A cursory search of the New York Times' archives reveals that today marks the very first use of the word "Broheim" in the paper's 159-year history.

The excellent parenthetical about the slappy Charo look-a-like almost made up for how excruciating the rest of that review was. Almost.

Times style is pretty clear: that should be "said on Broheimster."

Sifton's food similes seem to be getting more and more confusing. "The mixed greens are the size of a throw pillow?" So, if you replaced all of the stuffing in a pillow with … greens? … and then emptied it out into a bowl? it would be … that size? AGH LETTUCE PILLOW. Suddenly not hungry.

Any instances of "Dudesickle" or the also acceptable "Bro-ham"?

Clearly has watched too many E*TRADE commercials.

I feel like "cursory" and "very first use" shouldn't be used in the same, sweeping sentence? I could be wrong.

I hate being forced to resort to Urban Dictionary.
