The Flintstones At 50
It is the 50th anniversary of "The Flintstones," which actually seems kind of low, since it feels like it has always been around. Anyway, celebrate with this list of the show's ten craziest inventions or skip to the 1:23 mark on this video to watch Branford Marsalis force Sting to sing the theme song. Either way, have a gay old time.

Too bad so many fundamentalists saw the show as a documentary.
I'd like to see 10 moments from the show that were actually funny.
Straining to remember which cartoons were funny, your comment resurfaced memories of waking up at 6 AM to watch Taz-mania before the 5th grade. Contrary to what you would expect, that show was REALLY FUNNY.
I don't know that one but the old Looney Tunes ones were the funniest.
"It's a living…" Wah…wahhh!
I just realized that Li'l Orphan Annie is descended somehow from Barney and Betty Rubble, what with their soulless, pupil-less eyes and all. Someone needs to do a genealogy of cartoon characters.
I work with a woman who laughs like Betty Rubble. Hearing it day in and day out is enough to induce soulless, pupil-less eyes.
Holy crap – The Screaming Blue Messiahs! I just had a mini-stroke.
