I tried to wipe her tears away with pages from a book. We just ended up in the ER for a corneal abrasion :(

Is this where I tell everyone that pretty much the best thing you can do, for yourself and the future of the world, is to go tutor kids?
I don't care if you hate kids. I don't care if you have no time. Go tutor. There are lots of programs pretty much everywhere that need volunteers.
I'd be more inclined to donate to 826 if they weren't located in such downtrodden areas as Park Slope, Ann Arbor and Venice, CA.
Can I still feel good about myself if I only give to 826CHI?
