"OK, so the Kocherlakota dispute followed K's very clear statement that the Fed's current policy of low rates is deflationary. That's sheer nonsense."
-Paul Krugman has lost his helpful parenthetical explanations-and his interest in retaining an audience of layperson readers.

Honestly, does anyone care anymore? I know I don't.
Sorry to be falling down on the job, etc., etc. but I've come to the reasoned conclusion that laypeople should just bask in ignorant bliss. Why try to understand this recondite, staggeringly boring shit when you're just gonna get screwed anyway?
Besides, no-one picked up my book deal, so I'm cranky.
Okay, you can have your willful ignorance but only if you agree not to complain about the outcome or present the last thing you read on the topic as your opinion.
Deal?
Also, good luck on the book thing.
I never make deals with people who promote giving edged weapons to fish.
'Kay?
Also, thanks.
PK, WTF?
He put "wonkery" in the post title! Come on, let him stretch his legs once in a while.
Yup, Krugman's blog often has wonky stuff, and he's always careful to identify it. I call false alarm.
Kocherlakota? Are these the Sioux that are held in shtetls in Eastern Europe?
