Tucker Carlson Is Concerned About Journalism's Image

Helping!"These are political hacks, and I think they should stop calling themselves journalists. It discredits the rest of us."
-The Daily Caller's Tucker Carlson explains the rationale behind his organization's "reporting" on the Journolist "scandal."

Too easy. But in ancient athletic parlance, this self-absorbed, no talent buffoon couldn't hold Ezra Klein or Dave Weigel's jock(s).

Perhaps he said 'Us'.

…said the bow-tie to the Tabasco tie!

Dear Ezra,

I keep hearing about how smart the policy conversations on JournoList are, and am starting to feel like I'm missing out by not reading them. Could I join?

This is some Mean Girls shit right here.

Does anyone besides the media actually care about this? (I am not saying I know either way, I'm just curious.)

La Cieca (#1,110)

I don't think even (most of) the media care about this. It's purely Tucker Carlson's attempt at a distraction, and as a distraction it's on the level of that time that one girl made such a fuss about that other girl who wore pink shoelaces to Mrs. Nedick's third hour civics class. As you recall, that incident was the the only topic of conversation at the mean girls' table in the middle school cafeteria until everyone got distracted by the new Hanson CD.

The fact that he's still flogging this suggests to me that his website's traffic hasn't been what he wanted it to be. Getting Weigel fired was definitely DC's moment in the sun so far, and he's trying to lengthen the tail.

Creuset calling Simplex black.

Cuisinart calling Osterizer a Hack.

Really? Tucker Carlson Is Concerned About Journalism's Image? Is that why he used to on purpose talk over the voices of opponents on "Crossfire" when he was losing an argument?

Fuckface.

wtfci (#6,263)

You'll be shocked to learn this, but Crossfire was always a turn based argumentative show.

Maxine (#1,795)

I read Tucker Carlson but I was imagining Tucker Max. But really it's equally galling to think that either one would consider himself a journalist.

*Deep sigh*
