Laura Hall, the first person on Knifecrime Island to receive a total ban on alcohol consumption throughout the country, has found a way to beat the system! She's jetting off to "the Cypriot party resort of Ayia Napa later this month with a BBC Âcamera crew in tow. She has saved up her benefits for the two-week trip and will be followed by a documentary crew from BBC Three who will be capturing her exploits for a new TV show." The BBC is quick to point out that they're not paying unemployed wastrel Hall for her participation and that the show is "a responsible film for BBC Three following her over time as she tries to turn her life around." And what better place for a chronic lush to do that than in one of Europe's hottest party capitals? This is exactly what public service broadcasting should be about!

Ever have one of those days weeks months lives when you just feel like you've done everything wrong?
"When the others are so wicked, why should we be good?"
That sort of thing?
But everyone will have to watch it, because BBC is the only station they get in England.
[Their] tax dollars at work!
It would be better if she was a celebrity. Oh wait.
I would follow this woman with a camera for forever:

She looks like the kind of girl it's totally fun to see at other people's parties.
I'm impressed that blouse is buttoned all the way up.
I'm impressed by the tramp stamp on that dude behind her.
looks like Elvish.
PLEASE always remember to put "Knifecrime Island" in the hed. It is like 36% of the delight for me.
Oauth isn'y working so I had to log in doing facebook and during the whole process forgot what I wanted to say. #fail
