Lady GaGa, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Shirley Bassey, Debbie Harry And Sting Turn Carnegie Hall Into A Fancy Karaoke Bar

This performance of "Don't Stop Believin'" (yes, that one) from a Rainforest Fund benefit last night in New York City proves that while you can put the Lady in really uncomfortable "arty" shoes that make her look like she's about to fall over, you can't pry the lyrics to Journey's ever-unkillable ode to hope from her brain. (Elton, however, got a bit tripped up by the verses at the beginning there...) [Via / Related]

So tired of Don't Stop Believin'. I went to a baseball game last weekend and it came on the radio twice during the drive to and from and then they played it in the stadium and at a certain point we have to agree that karaoke-style Glee-fueled irony doesn't justify our behavior as a culture.

They hardly let the old ladies sing!

Journey fills me with unfathomable rage.

I have to agree. Ugh. I hated them then, and I hate them now. Oh, Glee, I kinda love you, but you've got a lot to answer for.

And then the bartender looked up and said, "What is this? Some kind of !$^(!$!(^~$&&@! joke???"

Those shoes combined with the erratic video quality just made my hangover re-appear. Ugh.
