Today until 4 p.m. Eastern Time, the Biblioracle will tell you what book to read next if you tell him the last five books you have read. Handy! (In other local news, there is a lost corgi puppy in Bushwick, should you happen to find one.)

It's not lost, it's marinating.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is getting tricky.

The clever thing is, you get more than one recommendation.

I have a bit of a compulsive problem with reading. Might he be able to tell me what five books NOT to read?

1) Twilight.

GiovanniGF (#224)

I promise to not read it five times.

Wait, the Biblioracle is a person! This isn't some sort of computer-generated thing! There are hundreds of responses already and still hours left – it's going to take this guy forever!
Also, how does the Biblioracle know what books I have read already?

And while, in the two weeks since school ended, I've read 4 books, I had to go back a disturbingly long amount of time to come up with the 5th.

Oh! Speaking of books, I am halfway through Emily Gould's, and it is freaking fantastic. I highly recommend it!

If this is anything like the Oracle of Delphi, I imagine him ingesting Ibogaine and huffing volcanic fumes before making these selections.

Did someone say corgi puppy?

the best is that choire put him on 'shaky territory' with his five books. I keep obsessively refreshing, watching the recommendations creep upward. This guy is AWESOME!

John Warner's a real trouper for taking this on, god bless 'im. Just in time for Summer reading book-buying season!
