"Also, have you tried out for Jeopardy? Even the nerdy girls look cute when Alex prods them for personal anecdotes during the first round."
The Boston Globe commenter pool is giving out dating advice again, this time to a 25-year-old lady who, if she is a real person, is someone who actually keeps around friends who ask her "How are you still single?" I mean, maybe they think they're being weirdly nice or complimentary? But EFF THAT FOR REAL. (Also, Alex Trebek's prodding isn't always that cute, FYI.) [Previously]

Maura, why on Earth were you reading this article?
Oh. Ignore me.
"it seemed like a funny idea at the time."
(plus i got sort of hooked on this column after delving into its commenters' psychographics last week)
If she read the Awl, she'd know that 10% more boob would at least get her laid.
I can attest that I tried out for Jeopardy at one of the recent NYC auditions, and I wound up sitting next to a real hottie, so there is potential there.
I was on Jeopardy in 2006 and I can state that I was the most viable chick in the green room -- if that counts for anything.
The correct response is, "Because I am nice enough to not steal your girlfriend, who is way too hot for you."
