Cell phones and brain tumors, continued: "The World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer study called INTERPHONE found most cellphone use didn't increase the risk of developing meningioma – a common and frequently benign tumour – or glioma – a rarer but deadlier form of cancer." That's the result of a decade-long study that tracked nearly 13,000 people. But-and you knew this was coming-"The tired refrain 'more research is needed' fully applies in this instance: without more research the public's question about the acceptability of cancer risk from mobile phones will remain unanswered." Also, this study did not track the effects of having a cell phone in your pocket, which, as someone who values his testicles far more than his brain, is really the area of main concern in research such as this. I guess I'll wait the 20 years and see what the deal is then. If I survive.

Agggggh. More research is ALWAYS needed, but this is going to be used as "proof" that cell phones are still dangerous. If cell phones cause cancer than we are FUCKED because that means EVERYTHING causes cancer. (In no particular order: TV broadcasts, WiFi signals, unshielded signals from speakers, etc. etc. etc.)
Keep your phone in your murse.
But in the meantime, we should probably do something about that baby's cross-eye.
Someone should also tell our little friend that texting while driving your Little Tykes Toy Cozy Coupe isn't a very good idea, either.
i only text while driving if i'm drunk.

@gumplr:
and if he can't hack the AT&T lock, he'll give it a good fling across the room in a fit of impatient rage- breaking a flowerpot and possibly hitting the dog's ass in the process. -atta boy!- life lessons(TM) brought to you by Uncle Yucko.
By 'research' don't they just mean sitting around and waiting for large swaths of the population to develop nectarine-sized brain tumors and fertility rates to plummet?
I mean, imagine having to write that grant proposal.
Whatever, it's scandinavians who are being put on the line here. The price they pay for national healthcare.

This is a good excuse to post this.
