"The Archie & Friends cover shows a bronzed and buff Reggie (rechristened The Complication) channeling The Situation with a serious six-pack, while Archie's red hair is gelled up into a Pauly D do, and newcomer Cheryl Blossom (now known as Snookums) sports an impressive pouf that would make Snooki proud." Those aren't six-pack abs, that's his super-wide ween.
The Entertainer is crying in his basement right now.
I don't understand this man-tits trend.
This is almost as sad as when they did a parody of The Grind in the mid 90's, or the time they thought corduroy pants and a bucket hat counted as 'grunge'.
I know that saying "I don't know anything about 'Stupid Popular Show X'" is like proudly proclaiming, "I don't own a TV" but for people not daring enough to forgo television, but seriously, I had seen this cover this morning and had no idea it was a parody.
This is simply another blow in Archie Comics' long-running war of contempt against young people and popular culture.
How old is the average readership of this Comic Book? 96?
Philistines!
