"We can't wait to run around asking people what they're 'doing for Matt Damon night' and if they're going to 'a Matt Damon watching party' to 'play Matt Damon drinking games' (drink every time someone says 'Matt Damon'!). It's going to be so hard to get a cab on Matt Damon night, so try to leave your friend's Matt Damon party early and just find out whether Matt Damon cried at the end later when you get home. The only thing that would make this better is if it were a surprise for Matt Damon."
-For the first time ever, the three-hour American Cinematheque awards will be broadcast on network television. This year's honoree is Matt Damon. Previous awardees include Julia Roberts (2007) and George Clooney (2006). Why?

"Team America" come to life.

Poor, unappreciated Ben Affleck.

Can somebody explain *Julia Roberts* to mee, because… (!)

C'mon, HG, she smiles so pretty!

I unabashedly like Matt Damon, so while I question the need for having these awards, as long as they exist, I have no objection to him as a recipient.

Due to the drinkin' I can stop anytime I want to, my first scan of this had me reading, "Matt Dillon". And just realizing how underappreciated Dillon really is, he made some fine movies in his day.

KarenUhOh (#19)

Has his career lasted three hours?
